Tenei te midi mahana ki a Miriama Smith mō tāna āwhina i roto tā māua mārena.   We had the absolute honour of Miriama’s presence during our wedding day, which was nestled deep beneath the running valleys of Waitākere. Although she presented as our Celebrant and MC, she was more like whanaunga to us all.   Every interaction with her was warm, well-considered , and wholesome – from offering thoughtful suggestions during our pre-wedding wānanga, to kindly closing formalities with karakia. She was very instrumental to the seamlessness of our day and also in the creation of a stunning space and time for us to celebrate. We received numerous compliments from guests and other suppliers on her beautiful and humble āhua.   We still hold the utmost gratitude for Miriama and all that she has given us. We came across Miriama when we were looking for a Celebrant in the Coromandel area for our wedding – and we are SO glad we did! From our first meeting via Skype we instantly clicked with her relaxed but very organised approach to the whole process. Miriama is a true professional and was instrumental in making sure our wedding went off without a hitch! She is super helpful in giving advice and guidance on vows, and has a great questionnaire that makes for a really nice, personalised ceremony – but she was also super flexible when we wanted to add our own elements to our ceremony! We had an initial meeting with Miriama and could see how genuine and passionate she is and you can tell straight away she truly loves what she does from her abundant positive energy. We had to lock her in! Miriama made the lead up to and the ceremony so memorable from walking us through all the processes, paperwork, planning and tailoring our story all the while encouraging us to do it however we wanted to. She was available for any questions along the way and found her communication to be fantastic. I would highly recommend Miriama as a Celebrant / MC for your wedding.

Miriama created a ceremony that was unique to us. She found out our likes and dislikes, she asked questions about our relationship, our history, our family and our personalities, just so she can create a masterpiece suited perfectly to us. She NAILED IT!

Then as she carried on the day as MC, she made an effort to get to know her crowd. She chatted to ALL our guests while we were off getting photo’s, getting to know everyone!
